Hybrid Solar Oven

A hybrid solar oven is exactly what it sounds like. It's a technology that harnesses both energy from the sun, and from some other source - usually one of the more conventional electricity sources. Specifically, it's similar to a solar box cooker, but with a back up power source for days that are cloudy and also for nighttime cooking. In this way, they are more dependable than solar ovens that rely only on solar energy.
